Acinque: energy that connects

In a weekend given over to engines, it's worth remembering that mobility is changing shape. Acinque installs charging points for electric cars and bikes across the area, all running on 100% green electricity, and through its innovation division it works with companies, carmakers, car-sharing operators and public bodies on the shift to electric.

Present in the area for thirty years, the company positions itself as a single point of contact for electricity, gas, electric mobility, energy efficiency, district heating and smart city services: things that concern the home, the business and the city as a whole.

The work on smart solutions touches city life directly: from intelligent management of water resources to track waste, through to smart lighting, installing and maintaining street lights. This is the infrastructure a city only notices when it isn't there.

The link with Monza is one of origin, not just commercial presence: the Group's registered office is in the city, in Via Antonio Canova, and among the companies Acinque grew out of was Monza's own historic municipal utility. Thirty years alongside local communities

The Autodromo: the story of the Temple of Speed

Monza is the fastest circuit on the Formula 1 calendar, and not by chance: it was built that way. Immense straights, hardly any slow corners, a layout that forces teams to turn up with the lowest-downforce set-up of the year — less grip, more pure speed.
